Congratulations to W.K. Bray Lodge No. 410

Happy 150th Anniversary to W.K. Bray Lodge No. 410 in Hatboro! Constituted on April 9, 1868, it was first named Hatboro Lodge before the name “W.K. Bray” was inserted into the original petition. Bro. William Kirk Bray was District Deputy Grand Master (1868-1869) for the 26th Masonic District. The Lodge was originally a Moon Lodge, meeting every Wednesday on or before the full moon, since at the time, roads were generally poor and unlit, and travel was considerably safer by the light of the full moon. In 1917, the meeting night was changed to its current schedule, the third Wednesday of the month. Since 1897, the lodge has met at Wilgus Hall (rebuilt after a fire in 1915).
